The story behind GLO₂
It started with a moment I almost walked past.
A crisp, sunny morning. A drink I had made for myself. A little colour catching the light. And the simple feeling that something about that moment was worth noticing.

In March 2026, I was still experimenting with the drink that would become GLO₂. I added one of the natural colour ingredients, shook it up and went outside for a walk.
When I stepped into the sunlight, the colour looked different from how it had indoors. It caught the light. I remember looking down at the glass and thinking, “Wow — that glows.”
I kept walking, but that word stayed with me. So did the moment: fresh air, sunshine, a deep breath and the rare feeling of being completely present instead of already thinking about the next thing.
That day gave a name to something I had been trying to create for a while.
“The product is hydration.
The purpose is the pause.”
Why I started
Something I would genuinely choose for myself.
I had spent 13 years working hands-on in flavour formulation, product development and manufacturing. My training came from making things — learning what ingredients do together, how a tiny change can alter the entire flavour, and how an idea becomes something real.
As I became more interested in health, movement, longevity and everyday wellbeing, I tried all kinds of electrolyte products. But I kept coming back to the same thought: why did hydration so often feel like something to get through, rather than something to look forward to?
I wanted a drink that made sense in my own routine. Something I enjoyed tasting. Something I could reach for alongside a coffee, after moving, while travelling, or simply during a quiet moment outside.
So I began developing it for myself — considering the formulation and the drinking experience together. The electrolyte system, the marine collagen, the flavour, the sweetness, the texture and the finish all had to feel like parts of one complete idea.
Not just functional. Something I would genuinely want to drink again.
The name
GLO₂. The light and the breath.
GLO began with what I saw in the glass that morning. It also spoke to the way I thought about vitality, movement and feeling well — more expansive than any single activity or occasion.
O₂ came from the breath I took on that walk. Not oxygen as an ingredient or product claim, but a symbol of pausing, noticing where you are and beginning again.
The light. The breath. A small moment that had been there all along.
And just like that, the other names I had considered no longer felt right.
The philosophy
What if hydration belonged beside the moments you love?
Morning coffee has its own ritual. So does a run, a Pilates class, playing music, taking a trip, a good conversation or finding five minutes to yourself.
I didn't want GLO₂ to tell people how to live or give them another thing they were supposed to do. I wanted it to fit into the lives they already loved, and perhaps remind them to appreciate those moments a little more.
That's what became Ritual Pairing Hydration. You choose the moment. You know why it matters to you. GLO₂ pairs hydration with it.
And I love the idea that the positivity we bring to the things we enjoy can carry forward — in our conversations, our smiles and the way we show up for the people around us. That feeling comes from life, not a promise made by a drink.
The standard
Made with care. Shared with purpose.
GLO₂ grew from years of practical experience and one very personal idea: I wouldn't put my name on something I wouldn't genuinely choose myself.
I'm proud of the flavours, proud of how far the idea has come, and proud to finally share it with you.
Whatever the moment is for you today, I hope you take the time to enjoy it.
Take a breath. Enjoy the moment.
Hydrate. Balance. Begin.
with purpose.
